Saskatoon Minor Rugby provides age-appropriate rugby programming for youth from 3 to 18. While some of our programs may cover a large age range, participants within these programs are grouped together based on age and skill development to ensure activities are safe and fun.
We offer both contact (12+ years old only) and non-contact (flag-based) options for youth to learn the game safely.
Whether a player is new to rugby or has played for years, we have programs that meet the needs of each individual.
Our coaches all meet the minimum qualifications to coach rugby in Saskatchewan (as mandated by Sask Rugby) and prioritize player safety and welfare.

We also encourage you to read the information about each program carefully to check the program dates (e.g. spring, summer, or fall programs) and goals (e.g. learn to play, games & practices, etc.) for each program to understand which one will be right for you.
Any issues with accessing registration can be directed to nsruminor@saskrugby.com. If we know about your issue we can help you out! If the issue you are experiencing requires additional support we will file a SportLomo support ticket on your behalf.
There are known problems with attempting to register via a mobile device for some users. If you encounter problems via mobile, please try via a computer before reporting an issue.
When attempting to register, please make sure that all required fields are completed as the system will not allow you to proceed if required information is missing.
We book locations for our programs based on the availability of the Saskatoon rugby fields and to ensure an enjoyable experience for participants. In the spring, we are often subject to the weather and the condition of the rugby fields. We play it safe by booking and planning on alternative facilities until we are given the all-clear to use the rugby fields. If we can move outdoors to the rugby fields earlier than expected we will keep participants and families informed via the TeamLinkt app.
We're glad you asked! 2024 participants who refer a new member (i.e. not another 2024 participant) will be eligible for a $10 rebate on their 2024 registration per new registration. Participants in the Minor Program will be eligible for up to $50 in rebates (5 referrals) and participants in the Saskatoon Junior Rugby League will be eligible for up to $70 in rebates (7 referrals). To have your referral recognized, just have the new member mention your name in the appropriate field on their registration. All rebates will be tallied and issued at the end of the referring participant's program (e.g. participants in the Minor Rugby Program that refer a new member will have their rebate tallied after June 22, 2025).
