Afternoon, there will be no games at the rugby fields tonight due to rain over the last week/last night in particular. Will update by 3pm if the fields are playable for the games on the 4th of May. Thanks Bruce (gophers)

Feb 1,2012| The 2011 men's division 1 final featured the Saskatoon Wild Oats versus the Regina Campion Grads. The game remained very close throughout with the lead alternating frequently between the two teams. The turning point came with a drop goal from Travis Hatzel of the Wild Oats. Ultimately the Wild Oats prevailed and won the provincial title.
The division 2 final featured the Saskatoon Wild Oats versus the Saskatoon Badgers. The Badgers emerged victorious from the contest to take the division 2 provincial title.

Jan 29,2012 Co-ed indoor 7s sessions for U18 players start Tuesday, February 7, 2012. The sessions will run on Tuesdays until March 27 all sessions start at 9 p.m. The sessions on February 7, March 6, 13, 20 and 27 are being held at Walter Murray. The sessions on February 14 and 28 are being held at Tommy Douglas Collegiate. Please contact Brennan Marcoux at 229-0069 for more details.

Jan 29,2012 Congratulations to Joe Franey, of the Saskatoon All Blacks, and Monty Tichkowsky, of the Lloydminster Reapers. The boys were selected to the U19 National team. The team will be travelling to England in February 2012 to compete against some of England's finest U19 teams. Good luck boys.

Jan 29,2012| Hubert Buydens and Nanyak Dala, both of the Saskatoon Wild Oats, represented the NSRU at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Both men played exceptionally well throughout the tournament. Hubert Buydens was also one of the now infamous "beardos" that brought much attention to Canadian rugby. The world cup was broadcast in full on TSN in Canada, bringing rugby to the attention of many people who had not previously been exposed to our wonderful sport.

Jan 29,2012 The Saskatoon Wild Oats Women and the Saskatoon Kirin squared off in the 2011 women's provincial final in Saskatoon. The game showcased an intense rivalry between the two teams. It was a hard fought battle wherein the end result remained in doubt until the very end of the game. Ultimately, the Wild Oats Women prevailed and were crowned provincial champions.

Jan 29,2012| NSRU players swept the awards for the U18 men's Saskatchewan team at the National Festival in Calgary, AB. Mike Bue received the award for most improved player. Joe Franey was chosen as the most valuable player and William Jacklin-Watt was selected to receive the train hard, achieve greatness award.

Jan 29,2012| William Jacklin-Watt was the lone NSRU player selected to Team Saskatchewan for the 2011 Western Canada Summer Games in Kelowna, BC. The team finished in second place, the highest finish Saskatchewan has ever achieved.

Jan 29,2012 After several days of intense competition the Saskatoon Sirens were crowned the NSRU high school girls champions. The Saskatoon All Blacks took the boys NSRU title. Both teams move on to play against Notre Dame in the provincial finals.
